CVR imoroved dramatically during the 4th month project
CVR 150% up after implementation
on our website(http://www.sourcenext.com/) which would be a contact point with the new customers, the number of visitors increased 12% up from the previous year. However, CVR have been decreasing and 56% from the previous year. We have been struggling with the problems to level off the online sales despite making effort to make the customers visit our website.
Even though we believe that the level of usability of each landing page is very high, we have a weak point that we haven't optimize the wire of the entire site yet.
we conduct the 6-month userbility improvement service to the Sourcenext’s website. During 6 month, we sort out 60 userbility points from 4 points of view. At the 4th month mid-term review, 38 problems out of 60 points have already implemented. (the digest rate is 63%)

We achieve CVR improve dramatically from the project kick-off on February 2013. At the 3rd month, CVR 56% from the previous year improved 70%. The improvement rate of CVR is 50%.
Fortunately, we have already received a lot of web consulting proposals. However we have never put an order to other companies because none of them couldn’t meet our needs. The reason is that we are specialized in the member ship marketing and we have 2 functions as “Manufacturing” and “shop”. Therefore, Its not enough to only increase online sales but also increase the customers’ satisfaction regardless of which store they bought our products. In addition, there aren’t many manufacturing companies which manage to Ecommerce website and the sales at the stores even in other industries. So we need the concrete proposal with well understanding our background and our problems.

Yes, we have. We have been focused on the Userbility or conversions at each page without considering the entire wire. Our main approach is sending a mail magazine to our customers. So, we have been developing the know-how due to increase sales of the landing page which the customers would access from mail magazine.
However, these days, it became more important to direct and do a branding from the all points of view. For example, we needed to consider how to make the customer spend much more time on our website or the userbility from the page the customers arrived to the product page. Although we have never considered userbility as the points on entire website, EC&Marketing’s proposal made us realize that we need to develop the entire page’s userbility.
It was great that the person who gave us a proposal and shared our problems is actually the consultant doing thepractical works. We didn’t want to face the situation such as there is the gap between what the sales person says and what the consultant do after project will have already started.
Other reason is that we can easily imagine the deliverable since they gave us the proposal.
EC&Marketing’s proposal was very understandable because we can totally understand that “ When”, ”how” ”what for” will they gave us the deliverables. Therefore, we can avoid the situation such as we cannot know exactlyhow much the project proceed or the project goal and purpose become vague. In addition, because of the understandable deliverables, it became easy to share the project information with the management.
It was amazing to know the fact that we could see the customers’ actual behaviors on our website by using the user testing. At the first, we doubt if we can get enough results to observe only 5 users. Later, we couldn’t help accepting that we need fix the problems when we see that every 5 users behaved perfectly same for it.
It became clear for us how and what the users behave to get the information so the awareness that we have to care about the places and the contents of information was increased. The biggest change is for both the management and web marketing members to know how little actually the users read the literal information and become more focus on the visual expression with the least number of letters.
